Return Policy – Exotic Parrots Planet

At Exotic Parrots Planet, we take great pride in the health, safety, and proper care of all our birds. Due to the delicate nature of live animals, our return policy is designed to protect both the customer and the well-being of the parrots. Please review our return guidelines carefully before making a purchase.

Live Bird Return Policy

Live birds are not eligible for standard returns once they leave our facility. This policy ensures the safety and health of the animals, as transporting birds multiple times can cause extreme stress or expose them to harmful environments.

However, birds that qualify under our 7-Day Health Guarantee may be eligible for an exchange or refund if deemed unfit for sale by a licensed avian veterinarian. A written certificate from the veterinarian must be submitted to support@exoticparrotsplanet.com within 24 hours of the exam.

Any bird hand-fed by the customer or taken home before being fully weaned does not qualify for exchange, refund, or replacement.

Non-Live Product Returns

Accessories such as cages, books, incubators, and other supplies may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are unused, in original packaging, and in resellable condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

To initiate a return for accessories or supplies, please contact us at support@exoticparrotsplanet.com with your order number, reason for return, and photos (if applicable).

Non-Returnable Items

  • Live birds (except under the Health Guarantee guidelines)
  • Parrot eggs (fertile eggs cannot be returned or refunded after shipment)
  • Opened or used accessories
  • Customized or special-order products

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 3–7 business days after the returned product is received and inspected.

Exotic Parrots Planet reserves the right to deny returns or refunds that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.
